The ‘hyper-portable, ultra-affordable’ tablet.

Microsoft Gulf has just announced that the Surface Go is officially available in the UAE starting at a price of only 1,699 AED. Weighing less than a kilogram and coming with a 10-inch display, the Surface Go is a definite alternative to the expensive tablets or even Microsoft’s own high-end Surface Pro.

The Surface Go features a 7th generation Intel Pentium Gold Processor 4415Y that has a fan-less design that gives you enough power to perform normal tasks while giving you almost 9 hours of battery life.

The 10-inch PixelSense display also supports the Surface Pen that has 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity. The 3:2 display is professionally calibrated so you’ll always get colors are that close to real life.

On the port side, the Surface Go features USB-C that’s used for data transfers and charging along with an option to connect it to a 4K monitor. Also included is a microSD card reader.

“Microsoft’s award-winning Surface family has built its reputation on versatility, and the addition of Surface Go keeps all the premium qualities that have come to define it,” said Denis Klimashev, Senior Director Business Group for Microsoft Middle East and Africa. The productivity of having the apps like Office 365 to use for work or at school, with the flexibility to relax and read or watch videos – this was critical to the experience we had in mind when we designed the Surface Go. Whether you are a consumer, business user, student or teacher; an artist or engineer – the Surface Go is your ideal digital companion. Hyper-portable, ultra-affordable and as versatile as ever – empowering you to achieve more.”

The Microsoft Surface Go will have a starting price of 1,699 AED and is now available across all retail outlets in the UAE.
