It looks like Apple is pushing for the global rollout of Apple Pay with more countries being added to the list. While it was originally announced that the Czech Republic will be getting Apple Pay on February 19th, Saudi Arabia is also joining on the same day.
Local advertisements confirmed the launch, with users tweeting newspaper screenshots showing Saudi-based Al-Rajhi Bank announcing that Apple Pay is releasing this week, with a guide on how to set up customer’s card to work with the service.
Other banks in the kingdom confirmed to support Apple is National Commercial Bank and Riyad Bank.
