Android 9 Pie starts rolling out to the Nokia 7 Plus

The new version of Android will focus more on simplicity and digital wellbeing.

HMD Global has just announced that Android 9 Pie has started rolling out to all Nokia 7 Plus users starting today. The new version will come with a few UI changes and enhancements without compromising battery life. The new version features a more tailored experience thanks to AI and machine learning.

Android 9 Pie will also help users take care of their digital wellbeing by letting you see how much time you have spent on an app, which could be helpful when you want to know how much time you spend using your device.

New features of Android 9 Pie on the Nokia 7 Plus include App Action which learns about how you use your smartphone every day and assists you on your daily tasks. There’s also Adaptive Battery that will understand your usage patterns so it prioritizes the power based on the apps that you always use.

The digital wellbeing app will be rolled out on a separate update later this year.

Expect to receive the Android 9 Pie on your Nokia 7 Plus this starting today.
