Is this what the new iPhone will look like?
With WWDC 2020 commencing today, details about the new iPhone are now starting to fuel the rumor mill, especially with its supposed September release looming. Even if that is still months away, it won’t stop sources claiming that they know what the next iPhone will look like.
A tweet from leaker Sonny Dickson showed dummy models of the next iPhone (could be called the iPhone 12). The dummy models show three models: a 5.4-inch, 6.1-inch, and 6.7-inch. All dummy units supposedly come with triple cameras as well just like the iPhone 11 Pro.
Here are the first iPhone 12 dummies: 3 sizes (5.4, 6.1, 6.7). Flat edges, 3 cameras on the bump like recent molds. Notch, cameras should not be taken 100%, but chassis promising. pic.twitter.com/fcw3bLhVEF

The dummy models showcase a familiar design reminiscent of the edges found on the iPhone 4 and 5. This might also mean that the new iPhone is moving away from a curved screen design. The 6.7-inch display size on the top tier model also means that this could be the largest iPhone display yet.
While none of these designs have been confirmed, it does give you an idea of what to expect from Apple’s next iPhone. Other upcoming features coming to the iPhone include 5G support and a LIDAR sensor that was originally launched with the new iPad Pros.
WWDC 2020 will also see the reveal of new software updates from Apple that includes iOS 14, which will debut with the new iPhones.
