HMD Global announces new Nokia devices across three distinct lines with one distinct message: ‘Love it. Trust it. Keep it’

HMD Global today has just its biggest smartphone launch that features six new Nokia devices that are now streamlined into three new distinct models. The X-series include the Nokia X20 and the Nokia X10, the G-series that include the Nokia G20 and Nokia G10, and the C-series that include the Nokia C10 and Nokia C20.

In the new product line, the X series will be the top-of-the-range models while the G-series will be on the and the C-series will on be on the budget-friendly segment. Like all Nokia smartphones, these new devices are built to last inside and out, along with extended support for software patches and upgrades.

The X-series that include the Nokia X20 and the Nokia X10 push the boundaries of what a mid-range smartphone can do. Both devices are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G chipset that offers optimized performance and 5G support. It will also come with a promised three years of security and software updates and will have Android 11 running out of the box. There’s also a 6.67-inch Full HD+ punch-hole display and a 100 percent compostable case that come in the package that helps reduce waste.

The Nokia X20 features a 32-megapixel front camera and a 64-megapixel quad-camera setup on the rear with a Dual sigh feature that lets you use both cameras simultaneously. The Nokia X10 on the other hand will have a 48-megapixel quad-camera with Cinematic capture to help you personalize your content before you share it.

The Nokia X20 will be available in the UAE from May in Midnight Sun and Nordic Blue and comes in an 8/128GB configuration at a retail price of AED 1,349. The Nokia X10 will be available in the UAE from mid-June in Forest and Snow and comes in a 6/128 GB configuration at a retail price of AED 1,120. 

A highlight of the G-series is the promised three-day battery life along with a face unlock feature in addition to the fingerprint reader. There’s also a large 6.5-inch display on both models.

The Nokia G20 features a 48-megapixel camera and immersive OZO surround audio while the Nokia G10 features a triple camera system with AI-enhanced modes for low-light settings.

The Nokia G20 will be available in the UAE from May in Night and Glacier and comes in a 4/128GB configuration at a retail price of AED 599. The Nokia G10 will be available in the UAE from late April in Night and Dusk and comes in a 4/64GB configuration at a retail price of AED 499.

The best value for money will be offered by the new C-series, the Nokia C20 and Nokia C10. Both devices feature a large 6.5-inch HD+ display and run on Android 11 (Go Edition). The Nokia C20 features LED flash on the back and front cameras while the Nokia C10 is the cheapest smartphone offering in the lineup.

The Nokia C20 will be available in the UAE from May in Sand and Dark Blue and comes in a 2/32GB configuration at a retail price of AED 339. The Nokia C10 will be available in the UAE from late May in Light Purple and Grey and comes in 1/32GB configuration at a retail price of AED 279.

Also announced is the new Nokia Lite Earbuds that not only offer great sound and a premium design, but also impressive 36-hour battery life. The Nokia Lite Earbuds (BH205) will be available in the UAE from May in Polar Sea and Charcoal at a retail price of AED 149.
