The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3.
Despite Samsung saying that a new Galaxy Note won’t be released this year, many are still excited as to what the Koren smartphone maker will be released instead. We already know that the Galaxy S21 FE is arriving this year, but what we’re just finding out now is that Samsung is planning to also release a new variant of its foldable devices.
Joining the release of the Galaxy S21 FE is the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3, upgraded versions of Samsung’s foldables that will likely be announced through a new Unpacked event scheduled to take place this August and will also launch in the same month.
This happens almost a year after the Galaxy Z Flip 5G was launched, along with the Galaxy Z Fold 2. Demand for the new devices seemed to interest users more compared to its flagship Galaxy S21 series that was launched earlier this year.
There is also word that the new foldables will cost cheaper than its predecessors, though, with a rumoured starting price of $1000, it will be in the same bracket as most flagship devices so consumers willing to spend that money can add the foldables as an option.
No details were released about the hardware, but the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3 could likely spot a Snapdragon 888 CPU with the Galaxy Z Fold 3 sporting an under-display camera as well as S Pen support.
