Apple officially launches the iPhone 11, iPhone Pro and iPhone Pro Max, among other things.

It’s here! Apple has finally unveiled the next-generation iPhone and a plethora of other surprises during its annual September keynote held at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California.

Here’s a rundown of everything that was announced:

Apple Arcade and Apple TV+ – Apple has officially detailed two of its subscription services with pricing and availability. Apple TV+ will be launching on November 1st in 150 countries including the UAE and will cost 19.99 AED per month. There’s a free one month trial so you can binge-watch all the shows and decide if you want to keep it. Apple is also offering a free one-year subscription to Apple TV+ if you purchase a new Mac or iOS device.

Apple Arcade, on the other hand, will offer more than 100 games that are ready for you to play. No in-app purchases with all features enabled. It will be available on September 19th and will cost 19.99 AED and every user will get a one-month free trial.

iPad – Apple has officially introduced the 7th-generation entry-level iPad. With a starting price of only 1,349 AED, this new iPad features a larger 10.2-inch Retina Display. It’s powered by the A10 Fusion chip and now features a Smart Connector so you can easily connect external keyboards and yes, it’s still compatible with the Apple Pencil. Perfect for students (who’ll also get discounted prices) and educators, the 7th-generation iPad will be available on September 20th.

Apple Watch Series 5 – Not much has changed with the Apple Watch Series 5, with mostly internal hardware that was upgraded. Available September 20th, prices will start at 1,599 AED for the Wi-Fi version and 1,999 AED for the cellular version.

iPhone – Looks like the leaks were right, we’re actually getting three new iPhones with the release of the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max.

It’s powered by the new A13 Bionic chip and now comes with dual cameras: one wide and another ultra-wide camera that now has a specialized Night Mode. There’s an improved 6.1-inch Liquid Retina display along with an IP68 rating.

iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Max – These are basically the beefed-up versions of the iPhone XS with mostly all hardware improvements. This includes a new Super Retina XDR that’s similar to the high-end XDR display introduced by Apple a few months ago. The improved design on the A13 Bionic chip also means that you get more performance but also extending the battery life up to 5 hours (Max) compared to the previous generation.

Both smartphones also feature a new triple camera layout: wide, ultra-wide and telephoto cameras that also have the new Night Mode feature. Everything has been improved from software to hardware, hence Apple is calling this the Pro version of its popular device.
