The gaming smartphone with crazy hardware.
The ROG Phone from Asus redefined mobile gaming with top-of-the-line hardware. Now on its third generation, the ROG Phone 3 brings more powerful hardware and despite the unorthodox design, it is clearly a device made for gamers.
Let’s look at the hardware running on the ROG Phone 3: first, you have the Snapdragon 865+ CPU which should drive games with console-quality graphics. There’s also up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, along with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and a monstrous 6,000mAh battery. The ROG Phone 3 has a large 6.59-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Asus said that the OLED panel is capable of HDR support along with brightness levels that can hit 1,000 nits.
The rear camera of the ROG Phone 3 comes in a three-sensor array that includes a primary 64-megapixel main camera, 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 5-megapixel macro camera. The front-facing camera also comes in at 24-megapixels.
Like previous generations, the ROG Phone 3 also comes with a bunch of new accessories to make gaming more accessible. There’s the Strix SG16 15.6-inch portable display, a ROG Falchion mechanical keyboard, and the ROG Kunai 3 gamepad that looks similar to a Nintendo Switch. Anyone who purchases a ROG Phone 3 will also get 3 months of Google Stadia Pro free.
The ROG Phone 3 will come in multiple variants, with the ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition costing 799 Euros (3,397 AED) and the top tier version costing 1,099 Euros (4,673 AED).
