Xiaomi held true to its promise when it announced that it will be one of the first companies to utilize the upcoming Snapdragon 845 SoC on its devices. While many thought that there will be an announcement happening at MWC, Xiaomi confirmed that it will be releasing the Mi Mix 2S (powered by the Snapdragon 845) on March 27.

The tweet above refers to the AnTuTu benchmark score that the smartphone got, significantly higher than its predecessors.
Rumored specifications on the Mi Mix 2S include ultra-thin bezels and an inbuilt fingerprint sensor along with dual rear cameras.
It is worth noting that Samsung’s recently announced S9 and S9+ were the first devices to have the Snapdragon 845 SoC – but those variants will only be available in selected regions.
More details should be announced closer to the release date.
