Motorola announces the new Moto G, Moto X Play and the Moto X Style

Hot, funky and trendy new smartphones from Motorola.

First up is the new Moto G smartphone that features a new waterproof design along with a display that is scratch resistant. It includes a 13-megapixel camera along with support for Motorola Shells that is available in a variety of colors. You can also use Moto Maker to create and design your own colors.

Specifications include a 5-inch 720p screen, a Snapdragon 410 quad core processor with 2 GB of RAM. It will also come with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop along with 8 GB and 16 GB variants.

Additionally, the Moto X has gotten two new variants in the form of the Moto X Play and the Moto X Style. The Moto X Play features a 5.5-inch full HD screen and will be powered by a Snapdragon 615 processor with 2 GB of RAM available in 16 GB and 32 GB versions.

Running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, the Moto X Play will feature a 21-megapixel camera along a promised battery life of up to 48 hours (!). Like the Moto G, the Moto X Play will also be water-resistant.

The Moto X Style on the other hand is catered to fashionable users. You can choose a variety of colors and materials for your smartphone, this includes Saffiano leather and even real wood with unique grains. It will come with a massive 5.7-inch edge-to-edge screen along with stereo surround speakers. It will also run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and a 21-megapixel camera.
