Nefsy is a new food app that will let you sponsor a meal with each order

July 14, 2019

Hardee’s and Krispy Kreme will sponsor the first 50,000 meals generated from the app.

Nefsy isn’t your typical food deals app – it’s also a way for you to help those who are less fortunate than you by letting you purchase with a purpose. Nefsy will be aiding in the feeding of the underprivileged around the world, which was done with support and collaboration with the Dubai Government and Red Crescent Islamic Affairs.

Nefsy offers various exclusive dine-in deal from various fast food eateries in the UAE, including Applebee’s Krispy Kreme, Urban Seafood, Chicken Tikka, and Pizza Hut to name a few. In fact, these places have already pledged to give 50,000 meals as part of a campaign to feed the hungry.

The app also aims to establish itself as a place to find discounted meals that offer a user-friendly interface. The app is now available on Android and iOS devices. Once you download the app, you can sign up and immediately avail of the various deals.

Since every meal you purchase will also go to the underprivileged, you will then get a rank on Nefsy that will let you know how many lives you’ve helped – a subtle reminder on the actual purpose of the app.

“World hunger is an evident issue for years and helping out in the smallest of ways may not end the problem altogether, but will contribute to effective change,” quotes Nefsy’s Founder, Khaled Diab. “The conceptualization of Nefsy stemmed from a need to make a difference to not just the community that we live in, but also from the need to give back to communities, families, and individuals who don’t have easy access to meals and sustenance. The power of offering everyday users to make a change through short and simple steps is often underestimated but is what drives apps like Nefsy to enter the market and give the community an option to make a change, to make a difference. Nefsy also puts the user in mind by offering discounts at beloved dining spots – a win-win situation for all and a step closer to positively impacting lives.”
