Netflix launching new ‘Flixtape’ playlists

July 17, 2016

It’s like a mixtape – but for Netflix.

Netflix is offering the ultimate throwback with the introduction of Flixtapes, a new way to create mixtapes from content curated from of course, Netflix.

Flixtapes have two main options: making your own Flixtapes or the ones made for you. You can name your Flixtape and then add up to 6 titles on a playlist. You can then add a customizable cover and then add a name of a friend you want to share it with.

Once done you can then start sharing the Flixtape on Facebook, Twitter, text or even email. The person you send it to will be able to see the content as long as they have an active Netflix subscription.
