Portable notebooks weigh less than 2 kilograms.

Dynabook Europe has just launched its new range of Tecra notebooks on the first day of GITEX Technology Week. Both the Tecra A40-E and the Tecra X50-F both weigh less than 2 kilograms, making the ultimate portable productivity machine.

The Tecra A40-E supports more than 13.5 hours of battery life and even has a Quick Charge feature that can give you around 4 hours of usage from just 30 minutes of charging. There’s also a 14-inch full HD anti-glare display along with a robust exterior that the company says is military standard.

“The Tecra A40-E has been developed with all businesses in mind, no matter what their size or industry,” said Damian Jaume, President of Dynabook Europe GmbH. “The launch of this device demonstrates our commitment to innovate within the Middle East business PC market and broaden our range of user-centric devices, following on from our company rebrand.  We are looking forward to sharing this for the first time with our Middle East clients at GITEX 2019, the biggest and most important technology event in the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia ”

The Tecra X50-F weighs just 1.43 kilograms thanks to a magnesium chassis that makes it 40 percent lighter than plastic. It has a longer 17-hour battery life along with a 15-inch display and support for Wi-Fi 6 and an optional LTE modem.

“Typically, 15” devices have been desk-based products and therefore those using them have been bound to the office,” says Damian Jaume, President of Dynabook Europe GmbH. “The launch of the X50-F supports our mission to empower workers to work whenever and wherever with ultra-mobile devices, without sacrificing on portability or performance.”

The Tecra A40-E and the Tecra X50-F will both be available by the end of November. Stay tuned for a full review of the new notebooks soon.
