Meet the COOLPIX P1000.

Nikon has officially announced the COOLPIX P1000 in the Middle East and with it comes an insane 125x optical zoom that could probably take images even if they’re kilometers away.

The camera features a wide-angle 24mm equivalent that extends to the super-telephoto 3000mm equivalent that further enhances the zoom up to a crazy 250x!

It is also equipped with a new EXPEED image-processing engine that helps it achieve superior quality when taking images in great distances. There’s also Dual Detect Optical VR that helps reduce vibration so you can blur-free shots.

Other features on the COOLPIX P1000 include a 2359k-dot OLED viewfinder, 4K video recording, 3.2-inch TFT monitor, time-lapse and superlapse movie shooting and SnapBridge support.

“Placing our optical expertise and technological knowledge in this new COOLPIX camera is to place the impressive power of imaging in the hands of our users. Perfect for super-telephoto photography, be it for birding, wildlife, or celestial bodies, the new Q15035 endows our users with streamlined operability and high-resolution quality that will undoubtedly impress,” says Narendra Menon, Managing Director, Nikon Middle East FZE.

Stay tuned for the local availability and pricing of the Nikon COOLPIX P1000.
