Nokia 3.1 Plus makes its way to the UAE

HMD Global has just officially announced the Nokia 3.1 Plus that’s now available in the UAE. It features a 6-inch HD+ display, dual cameras along with an awesome two-day battery life. With a starting price of 579 AED, it’s currently the most affordable smartphone in Nokia’s Android line up. It is also part of the Android One program which means you will be getting the latest security patches and upgrades as soon as Google rolls them out.

Lastly, by joining the Android One family, the Nokia 3.1 Plus stays fresh over time with the latest Google innovations and regular security updates,” said Sanmeet Singh Kochhar, General Manager – Middle East, HMD Global.

The Nokia 3.1 Plus’ display comes at an 18:9 aspect ratio along with a massive 3,500 mAh battery. There’s also the dual 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel cameras that support portrait studio style shots. Inside, the Nokia 3.1 Plus will be powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor.

HMD Global confirms that the Nokia 3.1 Plus will be receiving three years of security patches along with a guaranteed two years of major OS upgrades. The Nokia 3.1 Plus ships with Android Oreo, so expect it to have Android P and Android Q in the next couple of years.

The Nokia 3.1 Plus will come in colors of Blue, White or Baltic. It will arrive on November 20th with a retail price of 579 AED for the 2 GB/16 GB version and 639 AED for the 3 GB/32 GB version.
