It will be an Android One smartphone.
HMD Global has just made the Nokia 6.1 Plus official in Hong Kong. The device is basically a different variant of the X6 that was announced a couple of months ago.
The Nokia 6.1 Plus includes a 5.8-inch notched display like the iPhone X that’s powered by a Snapdragon 636 processor along with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. There are also dual cameras at the back along with a 3,060 mAh battery.
The Android One device comes with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and is also scheduled to get the Android P update.
The Nokia 6.1 Plus launches in July. No word yet on a release here in the Middle East but given the popularity of the brand there’s a good chance we’ll be seeing it in stores soon.
