Android Pie, that is.
HMD Global has announced that Android Pie has started rolling out to all Nokia 6.1 users in the UAE. This is the second smartphone in the Nokia portfolio to receive the latest version of Android following its rollout on the Nokia 7 Plus.
New features such as enhanced AI support and machine learning will all be included in Android Pie. Another feature is Adaptive Battery that analyzes usage patterns so it knows how to prioritize apps that use power.
The Nokia 6.1 offers a decent feature-set that’s fit for any mid-range smartphone. This includes a Snapdragon 630 CPU along with ZEISS optics on the camera along with USB-C charging. Along with that the Nokia 6.1 is also part of the Android One program, which is why it can get regular updates from Google that usually is previously only limited to its Pixel smartphones.
