We’re also guessing what it’s for.
The now HMD-owned Nokia brand is slowly making a comeback and thanks to recent hits like the revival of the 3310 and the Nokia 8, it looks like the brand is here to stay for a new generation.
Early rumors are saying that the company is prepping for the launch of its next device though it is widely speculated that the upcoming smartphone will have a crazy 5-lens camera setup.
Details are sketchy at the moment, but sources are saying the 5-camera setup is basically the same technology found on the company’s recently discontinued OZO camera.
It is not clear though if this new camera setup will power the next-generation Nokia 8 or Nokia 9. But another rumor is saying that these smartphones might instead continue the legacy left behind by the Lumia 1020, which is the 41-megapixel shooter.
There’s a good chance we will learn more about this device as the weeks continue, especially since Mobile World Congress in Barcelona commences next month.
