New updates come to the Helios 700, Helios 300, and the Nitro 7.
Acer has just announced updates to its popular Predator and Nitro gaming notebook line. Four models that include the Predator Helios 700, Predator Helios 300, Predator Triton 300, and the Nitro 7 brings in new hardware from Intel and Nvidia.
Predator Helios 700
Upgrades on the Predator Helios 700 include an overclockable 10th-Gen Intel Core i9-10980HK or i7-10875H processor along with your choice of an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER or RTX 2070 SUPER GPU. It also has the iconic HyperDrift keyboard, along with an enhanced thermal solution called PowerGem. PowerGem is a special material that has 3.83 times more vertical heat conductivity. This means that the notebook is able to manage heat more efficiently.
Other specifications include 2933Hz memory with support of up to 64GB, Thunderbolt 3, Wi-Fi 6, and PCIe NVMe SSDs. There’s also a large 17.3-inch 144Hz display that supports Nvidia’s G-Sync technology.
The keyboard also features MagTek mechanical switches for the WASD keys plus a new set of racing keys that offer increased precision with a 1.5 mm keycap curvature. These keys are easily swappable, and the Predator Sense app will let you adjust the keys lighting and actuation point.
The Predator Helios 700 gaming notebook will be available in EMEA in September starting at 2,699 EUR (11,122 AED).
Predator Helios 300
This notebook also features the latest 10th-Gen Intel Core H-series processor with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 GPU with Max-Q Design. There is the 15.6-inch FHD IPS display with a 240Hz refresh rate along with up to 32GB of 2933MHz DDR4 RAM and dual PCIe NVMe SSDs.
The notebook also supports DTS:X Ultra Audio that offers high-end 360-degree surround sound. The Helios 300 also features the 4th Generation AeroBlade 3D fan that increases airflow for better cooling without creating noise and CoolBoost that allows you to manually adjust the fans.

Predator Triton 300
Made not just for Gamers but also for Content Creators, the Predator Triton 300 comes with a 10th-Gen Intel Core H-series processor and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 GPU with Max-Q Design plus a 15.6-inch 240Hz display. It can support up to three M.2 SSDs (one PCIe, two combos) for storage and also features Acer’s own AeroBlade 3D and CoolBoost technologies. All of this is housed in a lightweight metal chassis weighing only 2.1 kilograms.
The Predator Triton 300 gaming notebook will be available in EMEA in July, starting at 1,399 EUR (5,765 AED).
If you’re looking for gaming on the go, then the Nitro 7 is the right choice. Weighing 2.5 kilograms and measuring only 19.9 mm thin, this notebook packs in a 10th-Gen Intel Core H-series processor and up to a GeForce RTX 2060 GPU. There are slots for the high-speed M.2 SSDs and up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM plus Wi-Fi 6.
