June 15, 2020

SSD upgrade kit for Mac Pro also released.

Apple’s 16-inch MacBook Pro notebook is the top choice for Pro users who want the best computing power from a Mac. While previous GPU options for the MacBook Pro include the AMD Radeon Pro 5500M in either 4GB or GB capacities, Apple is now letting you configure the 16-inch MacBook Pro with a high-end AMD Radeon Pro 5600M with 8GB of HBM2 memory.

This means that you’re getting the performance that’s 75 percent faster compared to the other GPU options. Expect 3D models and videos to render faster – definitely a performance boost to your current workflow.

Additionally, Apple is also releasing a new SSD upgrade kit for the 2019 Mac Pro. This kit will allow users to upgrade the internal SSD on the Mac Pro – a good option if you’ve previously bought a smaller capacity SSD and would need to upgrade the storage. The kit includes two SSD modules with the following capacities: 1TB, 2TB, 4TB, or 8TB.
