One of the most stylish and most powerful gaming notebooks available.

Asus ROG has just announced a new collaboration with the technical design apparel agency ACRONYM to introduce a new special edition of the Zephyrus G14 gaming notebook to the UAE. ACRONYM co-founder Errolson Hugh and long-time collaborator David Rudnick of Terrain was brought in to develop a new design language for the gaming notebook. This included new bespoke typefaces and other material treatment that gave the Zephyrus G14 a whole new look and feel.

“We try to break the expected relationship with a product to make the user feel more aware of the product as a tool, and make them more active and engaged with it. It’s too easy to become complacent toward the technology we use and let into our lives, and that can make us passive recipients of information, and thus less creative and less empowered,” said Hugh about ACRONYM’s design approach.

Retailing for 9,999 AED, the ROG Zephyrus G14 ACRNM RMT01 brings in the same dot matrix design from the lid similar to the AniMe version released a couple of months ago but now includes ACRONYM-specific animations. Probably the biggest change you will see on the Zephyrus G14 is the keyboard. The keys come in several colors that reminded me of those keyboards used for video editing. Still, it gave the Zephyrus G14 another level of class and sophistication that you won’t think that would come to a gaming notebook.

Of course, the Zephyrus G14 is still a powerful gaming notebook. In terms of hardware, you’re getting an 8-core AMD Ryzen 9 CPU along with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 GPU. There’s also the Pantone-validated IPS display that supports Adaptive-Sync variable refresh rate technology for a smooth gaming experience. The 14-inch chassis is made from magnesium alloy that’s both strong and lightweight – and did we mention it’s 20mm thin?

Just like the rest of the Asus and ROG line, purchasing the Zephyrus G14 means you can take advantage of the company’s 2 Year Perfect Warranty that includes coverage for accidental damage from spills, drops, and even electrical surges. You will also get a free one-month subscription to Xbox Game Pass that gives you access to more than 100 AAA PC games.
