A more personalized experience.

Microsoft has just announced that its new Office 2016 suite for the Mac is now available in Arabic. All the new features are now available in the language that will help benefit users in this region. Currently, Office 2016 for Mac has support for 21 languages.

“Microsoft goes an extra mile to enable all its customers to fully benefit from its products and services. Our Arabic speaking customers form a significant share of the Microsoft market and we always want to give them a more personalized experience by customizing our products in their local languages. The Arabic version of Office 2016 broadens our appeal to Office users especially in the Middle East and North Africa. We believe that this will enable businesses, individuals, students, government departments as well as educators to boost their services, enhance productivity and contribute to the growth of the region’s economy,” said Ihsan Anabtawi, Regional Manager for Applications and Services at Microsoft Gulf.

The updated design follows the ‘ribbon’ interface of the current version offered on Windows. Along with that, it will have the same Mac-exclusive features like Full Screen view and Multi touch support. Office 2016 for Mac also adds support for Retina Displays, allowing for sharper and more detailed text.

Office 2016 for Mac is available for Office 365 subscribers while a standalone version will be out in a few months.
