OneUI is Samsung’s customized Android interface.
If you’re an iPhone user considering getting a Galaxy device, Samsung is offering a new way for you to test out its Galaxy smartphones through a web app that you can use on your iPhone. The website, called iTest, mimics the interface of a Samsung Galaxy smartphone, complete with interactive menus and tones.
You can visit http://itest.nz to check it out, where it will require you to save the web application on your iPhone’s home screen. From there, you can simply launch it and you will be greeted with the familiar OneUI that’s present on the current Samsung Galaxy smartphone.
“You’re about to get a little taste of Samsung, without changing phones. We can’t replicate every function, but you should quickly see that there’s nothing daunting about switching to the other side,” the website reads.
The web app is actually a great representation of OneUI, which could probably convince will-be buyers of Galaxy devices to switch. Most of the apps running on iTest can also be launched, letting you experience Samsung’s own interface without the need to visit a store.
iTest even teases that most of the Google apps are fully supported and available on Samsung Galaxy devices, probably poking fun at Huawei, where the current Google ban is still in place.
