Product Spotlight: Belkin Boost Up Special Edition Wireless Charging Pad
November 19, 2018

The perfect accessory to your new iPhone.

Many Apple fans have welcomed the support for wireless charging on the new iPhones, and while Apple hasn’t officially released its own wireless charger yet, many companies have started releasing their own wireless chargers compatible with the new iPhones.

Enter Belkin, who has been releasing some of the best accessories for smartphones in the past couple of years. Even if they’re a third-party accessory maker, Belkin has the distinction as being one of the few companies that have been certified by Apple. This means that any device that you buy from them offers the best quality that can only be matched by Apple’s own devices.

The Belkin Boost Up Wireless Charging Pad is already one of our favorite wireless chargers, and this new special edition variant has been made especially for the iPhone X, iPhone 8  and iPhone 8 Plus. We also tested it on the new iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Mas and it worked flawlessly.

The Belkin Boost Up Special Edition Wireless Charging Pad’s design is simple: you have a stainless steel circular charging pad with a chrome finish on the sides, and there’s a soft matte finish on top that grips on your smartphone while you charge it. The charger follows the Qi charging standard and the 7.5-watt wireless charging is perfect for the supported iPhones mentioned above.

Once you plug it in, you can simply place your iPhone on top of the charging pad and it will start charging right away. A small LED light will indicate charging, and it’s designed in a way that it can charge your iPhone even if you have a case installed. The charger also features foreign object detection using the LED light that warns you if there are any objects on the charging pad that could affect the charging process.

Like with all Belkin devices, the Boost Up Wireless Charging Pad includes a Connected Equipment Warranty that covers electrical damage on your device up to $2,500. Available in black and white colors, the Belkin Boost Up Wireless Charging Pad is now available for 239 AED.
