Recent Windows 10 update puts PCs in a boot loop

October 6, 2016

Users reported getting the blue screen of death.

Windows 10 may be a big improvement over Windows 8, but the amount of problems that users get doesn’t seem to go away. Add to that the option that most updates to the operating system now happen in the background, in which the company says will be less intrusive experience compared to previous versions of Windows.

The problem though is that what if Microsoft has pushed a faulty update? Which somehow is the case with most users who are reporting being stuck in an endless boot loop on the blue screen of death.

The update in question is a patch for the recent Windows 10 Anniversary Edition update, which brought new enhancements to the OS. Microsoft already acknowledged the problem and will be issuing a fix soon, but the question is that how will these users install the update if they can’t even boot up the computer?

Microsoft will probably release a guide on how to install it even when you can’t boot up the computer properly – though I doubt it will be a breath of fresh air for casual users.
