StarCraft: Remastered coming this summer.

Blizzard Entertainment has just announced that the classic game StarCraft will be rereleased this summer in a new remastered form. The original games StarCraft and StarCraft: Brood War will be released a StarCraft: Remastered.

The classic real-time strategy game will now supports 4K Ultra HD resolutions and will also feature ‘re-recorded and rejuvenated’ dialogue and soundtrack.

“StarCraft is a pure distillation of Blizzard’s DNA—its story, its balance, and all the little details reflect our long-running commitment to epic entertainment, and it’s been a staple in competitive gaming and esports for almost 20 years,” said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. He said that the remaster will modernize the game’s visuals along with its audio. Online support of course will still be there to which they say should last anothere 20 years.

StarCraft: Remasters will come to Mac and PC this summer. Prices will be announced at a later date.
