Samsung to cut Galaxy S6 price to boost sales

It wasn’t a hit as the company was expecting.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 may be one of the most powerful smartphones available, even getting rave reviews from everyone thanks to its slim profile and near-perfect screen.

Despite the great reviews, sales for the Galaxy S6/S6 Edge are not what the company was expecting. Much of the reason behind that was the miscalculation on the demand for the S6 Edge, which proved to be more popular than the standard S6, even if both have the exact same specifications.

In a bid to boost its sales, Samsung will be offering price cuts for its flagship devices and will be launching new devices with even larger screens this year.

It was noted that Samsung sales were down 8 percent compared to the same period last year, which would be the seventh year that the company has seen falling profits.

On the other hand, if you haven’t gotten your hands on a shiny new Galaxy S6/S6 Edge, now is the best time.
