The true iPad killer?
I wasn’t initially a fan of Android-based tablets before but last year’s Samsung Galaxy Tab S changed my mind. It combined a fast performance along with an excellent specification and design. Naturally, the company is following it up with the Galaxy Tab S2.
iPad comparisons aside, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 features an AMOLED display in 8 and 9.7-inch options. Last year’s model had a quad-HD screen with a 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution, and this year’s model was scaled down to 2048 x 1536 pixels – just like the iPad Air 2.
Rounding off the specifications is an Exynos octa-core 5433 processor along with 3 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage and a fingerprint scanner. Also included is an 8-megapixel camera. The best part of the tablet is that it only measure 5.6 mm thick.
Samsung is releasing the Galaxy Tab S2 next month and we will have a full review once it is out.
