New positions are being sought out by Activision.
One of the most played battle royale games on consoles is making its way to mobile devices. The rumour is somewhat confirmed by Activision, who is currently seeking to fill roles to help develop Call of Duty: Warzone to iOS and Android devices.
In the job post, Activision said that it is looking for teams that would focus on content expansion across CoD Mobile and Warzone. This includes development teams that will help bring Warzone to mobile devices from production, design, development, and marketing.
Details about the job description also added that it is looking to bring the Warzone experience on console and PC to match it on mobile devices. After many noticed this specific listing, Activision promptly removed it from their site. Reports also confirmed that Activision is currently on a hiring spree for a new mobile title that it is planning to launch.
At the moment, Activision’s Call of Duty: Mobile is its only mobile game that was developed by TiMi Studios. The game is currently one of the most played games on mobile devices, recently passing 500 million downloads.
While Activision hasn’t officially announced Warzone on mobile devices, we can only wait and see until they are ready to reveal it.
