March 2, 2021

Releasing on Android and iOS later this year.

PUBG is launching a new spin-off title called PUBG: New State that is scheduled to release on both iOS and Android devices. New State aims to bring the battle royale genre to a more futuristic setup, with new maps and of course futuristic weapons and vehicles.

It is worth noting that PUBG: New State is from PUBG Studio, the makers of PlayerUnknown’s Battleground on PC and console. This is not to be confused with PUBG Mobile that was developed by Tencent and doesn’t belong under PUBG Studios.

New State will take place in 2051, and will feature a new map called Troi with an assortment of vehicles like drones and even various combat shields. The developers said that New State will offer in-game customization for weapons as well as ultra-realistic graphics.

PUBG: New State is scheduled to release later this year on Android and iOS.
