Available for iOS and Android later this year.
Rocket League is already one of the most famous free-to-play games available but since it’s mostly limited to consoles and the PC, many are wondering if a mobile version of the game will be made and today it looks like we have an answer.
It was revealed that a mobile spinoff called Rocket League Sideswipe is already in the works, bringing the same thrilling gameplay that the title is known for. Available for iOS and Android later this year, Sideswipe lets you play in 1v1 or 2v2 matches in a simpler perspective. The makers revealed that each match will be fast-paced, lasting 2 minutes for each match where you can play with friends online.
As far as gameplay goes, it’s still the same similar concept as the console versions. Sideswipe was designed with easier controls that would suit well for new and experienced players. Additionally, advanced mechanics will also be available if you feel like climbing up the Competitive ranks.
Sideswipe will offer various car customizations with a new online Ranking system. More features are also being planned before and after the game releases later this. If you’re living in Australia and New Zealand, you will get the chance to take part in a limited-time Regional Alpa test via the Google Play Store.
