Free sessions to be held daily on all Apple retail stores worldwide.
Apple has just announced that it will be introducing 50 new sessions as part of its Today at Apple program. These sessions will be in three major categories: Skills, Walks and Labs. These sessions will offer hands-on learning experiences in photography, video editing, music creation, and even coding and app development.
Just like previous Today at Apple sessions, these will all take place inside Apple retail stores around the world and is completely free of charge.
Since the launch of Today at Apple in 2017, they said that there have been more than 18,000 sessions that took place that was attended by millions of participants. “Since the beginning, Today at Apple has been about educating and inspiring the communities we serve. These new sessions are an opportunity to unlock the creative potential in all of our customers,” said Angela Ahrendts, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail. “There is a session for everyone at Today at Apple and we can’t wait to see what you will create.”
‘Skills’ will focus on learning various techniques in using Apple devices including apps like Clips or iMovie. New sessions focusing on GarageBand and Notes was also introduced.
‘Walk’ will invite attendees to go beyond the confines of the store and be mentored by a Creative Pro where they would explore surroundings and enhance their skills across photography, music and even health.
‘Labs’ will help customers experiment with various creative techniques where it will end with the beginning of a project. These sessions were curated with the help of world-renowned artists.
Apple is upgrading the design elements inside the store to increase capacity for attendees that would want to experience Today at Apple. Apple currently has three stores in the UAE: Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi along with Mall of the Emirates and Dubai Mall both located in Dubai.
