Sony Pictures hack has leaked 5 movies still in theatres

Clear copies of these movies have surfaced online.

The recent hacking at Sony Pictures not only compromised company secrets and confidential documents, but also managed to get hold of clear copies of various movies that are still in theatres.

DVD quality copies of “Fury”, “Mr. Turner”, “Still Alice” and “To Write Love on Her Arms” were all leaked online, even “Annie” which was supposed to be Sony Pictures’ holiday movie that is due to be released on December 19 has been leaked online and is currently making rounds at file sharing networks everywhere.

The Next Web reported that “Fury” has already been downloaded more than 1.2 million times along with “Annie” getting more than 200,000 downloads. The copies were presumably the ones being sent in for consideration for the Academy Awards.
