Check out the FDR-AX700.

The increasing popularity of 4K HDR devices and content further confirms that this new trend is here to stay. With this, Sony has just announced a new line of video cameras designed for professionals and amateurs.

The flagship product in the video camcorder line is the Sony Handycam FDR-AX700 that features a 1.0-type stacked Exmore RS CMOS image sensor. It also features 273 phase-detection AF points and a new Fast Hybrid AF system that is able to cover more than 84 percent of the shooting area – the result? A clear and highly-accurate focusing, not mention that it can shoot in 4K HDR.

The FDR-AX700 includes an OLED viewfinder plus a 3.5-inch LCD touchscreen so you can preview your videos without connecting it to a TV. Other features includes super slow motion support that can record at 960 fps. There is also dual memory card slot support along with a built-in full size HDMI input.

It doesn’t come cheap though – the Sony Handycam FDR-AX700 will set you back at 6,999 AED. But hey if you got the money, it’s easily one of the best 4K HDR camcorders that you can buy.
