Spotify reveals top music users listen to when doing a workout

There’s a good chance that most of our New Year’s resolutions include some form of being fit. Also, getting in the zone when doing your workout also requires the best tunes. Thankfully, Spotify has curated a playlist that would help you get pumped while exercising.

Spotify says that more than 43.5 million workout-themed playlist are available to stream, citing that Eminem’s ‘Till I Collapse’ returns to the top spot for a third year in a row. That’s for the men – for the women however, Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ ‘Uptown Fun’ is the top choice for women’s workout playlists. Spotify also mentioned that women over the age of 30 stream more workout music compared to the men.

Additionally, there is also a rise in bath and ice-themed playlists, with songs such as Vanilla Ice’s ‘Ice Ice Baby’ and Foreigner’s ‘Cold As Ice’ being the top favorites. It was also revealed that Finland is the most active country for the amount of works music it streams.
