Meet the Rival 3, Apex 3 and Apex 5.

Gaming accessory maker SteelSeries has just unveiled a new line of gaming devices made to showcase high performance when you need it. These new SteelSeries devices are now available in the Middle East through TechXhub, the company’s exclusive distributor in the region.

“There are so many gamers out there that are stuck using boring, traditional office peripherals for gaming,” said Ehtisham Rabbani, SteelSeries CEO. “With these new products, we set office products in our sights and sought to retool our cutting-edge technologies and put them into products that are accessible to every gamer. No one should have to be stuck using run-of-the-mill office products for gaming.”

First up is the Rival 3 gaming mice that feature a unique RGB lighting. Made from hyper-durable polymer, the 77-gram gaming mouse uses a TrueMove Core optical sensor for precise performance with support for true 1-to-1 tracking. There are also switches that have been rated for 60 million clicks along with onboard memory that can save up to five CPI profiles. Prices start at 199 AED.

Next is the Apex 3, a water-resistant gaming keyboard that features 10-zone RGB lighting. This keyboard uses low-friction switches that virtually eliminates noise for whisper-quiet operation. It’s durable too since SteelSeries says that performance has been guaranteed for over 20 million keypresses. Just like the premium Apex Pro line, the Apex 3 also comes with a magnetic wrist rest plus dedicated media keys and a clickable metal roller. Prices start at 379 AED.

Lastly, there’s the Apex 5 that comes with hybrid switches. These switches combine the smoothness of a membrane switch but also adds the durability and tactile click of a mechanical switch. The keyboard comes with an OLED Smart Display and customizable per-key RGB lighting. Prices start at 649 AED.
