It will be a free add-on.
While one of the benefits of streaming services is watching as many movies and series as you want, others still prefer physical media or digital copies from retailers. This is because these copies offer more content in the form of behind-the-scenes footage, bloopers, and other featurettes.
Many users have expressed interest in the feature especially for streaming services like Netflix, and it looks like we’re getting the feature soon. A report from The Next web said that a recent survey has been conducted asking the user if they would enjoy extra content aside from the main feature.
Called N-Plus, the service details it as more than just special features, but the content will be in the form of text, image, video feeds, etc that goes in-depth into the making of the main feature. Other content can also include interviews, analysis, audience conversations, music, podcasts, and more.
The best part? It looks like N-Plus won’t require to you pay extra, as it will be part of your Netflix subscription. What’s more, there is also word that some special features could also be available for free. If proven to be true, N-Plus could make that Netflix subscription worth it, especially since the service has just introduced another price increase a couple of months ago.
But we want to ask you? Will you be watching extra content after watching a movie? Is it something you would want to be part of your Netflix experience? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
