And T3ME’s Editor’s Choice Award goes to:

Huawei MatePad Pro

Searching for the ultimate productivity powerhouse? The Huawei MatePad Pro ticks all the right boxes and more! The first impressions are impressive enough thanks to a super-sleek and lightweight form factor, a beautiful 12.6” display with a punch-hole selfie snapper, a flash supported back camera, sturdy build, narrow bezels and micro-curved edges.

Geared towards mobile productivity and an immersive-media experience, the Huawei MatePad Pro includes WiFi 6 and PC-level liquid cooling that tilt it into laptop territory. Consider for starters that simply magnificent display. The vibrantly dynamic 2K AMOLED FullView Display on the Huawei MatePad Pro boasts the world’s highest screen-to-body ratio, an incredible 90%. The 1000000:1 contrast ratio and DCI-P3 cinematic color gamut complete a very positive first impression.

Huawei understood the need for users to have great power at their fingertips, which is why the Huawei MatePad Pro is powered by the flagship Kirin 9000E processor, cutting-edge 5 nm manufacturing and up to 15.3 billion transistors enabling cutting-edge, consistent performance.

All this power ensures the MatePad Pro is integral to Huawei’s Super Device experience, where multiple devices, from Desktop PC’s to tablets, gaming monitors and smartphones seamlessly connect and collaborate in a convenient and secure manner. Add to these highlights the super responsive 2nd gen M-Pencil and professional grade audio experience courtesy Harman Kardon tuning, and you realise why the Huawei MatePad Pro is top of our list!

Apple iPad Pro

The addition of the Apple-designed M1 chip delivers a massive leap in performance, making iPad Pro the fastest device of its kind. The 12.9-inch iPad Pro features a new Liquid Retina XDR display that brings extreme dynamic range to the iPad Pro, offering a stunning visual experience with more true-to-life details to the most demanding HDR workflows. An all-new Ultra Wide front camera enables Center Stage, a new feature that automatically keeps users perfectly framed for even more engaging video calls. That said, its priced exorbitantly, and we wish a few more pro features and apps could have been included to justify the pricing.

Starting at $679.99,

Surface Pro X

Built for the ways you work and connect, you’ll be ready for anything with the thinnest Surface Pro. With blazing-fast LTE connectivity and built-in HD webcams backed by Studio Mics and Dolby Audio, Surface Pro X also features a stunning, virtually edge-to-edge 13” Pixel Sense touch display and new choice of colors, with a Microsoft SQ2 Processor driving the action. As always, you need to invest separately in the Surface Pro X Signature Keyboard and Surface Slim Pen to make it a full laptop, a pity, given the Surface Pro X is pretty expensive already.
