Motorola releases the new Moto X, Moto G, Moto Hint and the Moto 360.
Motorola’s Moto X smartphone was deemed one of the best smartphones to launch last year. It managed to combine a sleek design and useful interface at the same time. Along with the Moto G, which is the more budget-friendly model, it became a top choice for most consumers. At this year’s IFA 2014, Motorola finally announced the successors to their flagship smartphone line with the new Moto X and Moto G.
The new Moto X now features a curved metal frame, along with wood and leather materials – it’s that awesome. It now comes with a 5.2-inch full HD display and will come with Android 4.4.4 KitKat. It will have the unaltered version of Android much like the ones you find on Nexus devices, ensuring a smooth and pure Android experience that includes the on-time updates.
Motorola says that the Moto X lets you select a custom voice prompt and accordingly, the smartphone learns your preferences and adapts to you. An online customization studio named the Moto Maker will also be available in the US and other countries that would let you customize the look of your smartphone before you purchase it.
Motorola’s budget-friendly Moto G has also gotten an update but instead of dumbing down the specifications, they have given the smartphone a more unique feature without burning a hole in your wallet.
It will have a quad-core processor along with a 5-inch HD display and of course, the latest Android operating system. It also features an all-day battery life and can be fully customized with Motorola Shells.
The Moto 360 may be the most beautiful smartwatch I have seen. Its circular curves deviates away from the usual square-shaped design present on most smartwatches. Powered by Google’s Android Wear, the Moto 360 will also feature a built-in pedometer and can easily track your steps and it even has heart rate monitor. Oh, and it charges wirelessly too.
With the power of the voice-driven Moto X, Motorola has also introduced a nifty new accessory that lets you communicated with the Moto X without having to look at the smartphone. It is basically a discreet wireless earbud, and gives you complete control of your smartphone. You can simply ask questions and d everything you want on your smartphone without even touching or looking at it.
Motorola Power Pack Micro
Normally a battery pack isn’t something to be excited about. But the Motorola Power Pack doesn’t just charge your smartphone when the battery is low. It easily attaches to your key chain where you can use it to locate your phone if even you have misplaced it. Additionally, if it’s the keys that are missing, you can use the Moto X to find them. A simple yet very functional feature.
