The Galaxy M20 is Samsung’s first ‘notched’ smartphone
January 15, 2019

To be released in India next month.

Despite being prepared for a January 28th announcement, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy M20 has already leaked online, specs and design included. The Galaxy M20 will be part of Samsung’s budget-friendly line, meant to be released in India where the company is struggling with fierce competition from companies like Xiaomi.

The Galaxy M20 will sport a teardrop-style notch, which will be the first Samsung device that will feature the Infinity-V/Infinity-U display. Leaked specifications for the Galaxy M20 revealed that it will be running on an Exynos 7885 processor with 3 GB of RAM along with 32/64 GB of internal storage.

The Galaxy M20 will also have dual rear cameras: a 13-megapixel main camera with an f/1.9 aperture and a 5-megapixel wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture. It is also rumored to have a massive 5,000 mAh battery that charges through USB-C. Unfortunately, the leaks state that the Galaxy M20 would be running Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.

No word yet if the Galaxy M20 will have an international release, but if proves to be successful in India then there’s a good chance that it will make its way here in the Middle East.
