With a 5.9-inch display, it won’t go cheap on its features like the original M8.
It’s due to happen. Even if the company hasn’t confirmed it yet, there are rumors surfacing that a larger version of the M8 – called the HTC One M8 Max (also rumored to be named Prime) – is already in the works and it will complete the HTC’s trinity of M8 smartphones: the original HTC One M8, HTC One mini 2 and the HTC One M8 Max.
The specifications for the HTC One M8 Max will include a large 5.9-inch screen (hopefully with a full HD resolution) and will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 processor, which will be faster than the Snapdragon 801 found on the original HTC One M8 Max.
Recombu also rendered an image on how the HTC One M8 Max would look like next to the original M8, so you may have an idea how much larger the Phablet will be.
If the specifications prove to be true, then the HTC One M8 Max is poised to be a Phablet powerhouse. I can’t wait to get my hands on it.
