The LG G7 will have a really bright display
April 25, 2018

1000 nits brighter to be exact.

Even if LG hasn’t really announced its next smartphone, a bunch of leaks and some subtle announcements from the company itself has already given an idea on what the upcoming LG G7 ThinQ will be like – this includes a massive 6.1-inch screen.

Not only that, but this IPS LCD display for the LG G7 ThinQ supports brightness levels of up to 1000 nits, making it one of the brightest smartphone displays available. It was noted that Samsung’s Note 8 and S9 series could also go beyond 1000 nits, but that is only enabled when the smartphone detects that it is outside in the sunlight and cannot be set by the user.

The LG G7 is set to have a 19.5:9 aspect ratio that’s almost the same as Apple’s iPhone X and yes, even the infamous notch will be included. Additional display features on the LG G7 ThinQ include power efficiency and is able to reproduce 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color space – meaning that this is one of the most color accurate displays on a smartphone.

The LG G7 ThinQ is expected to come with a Snapdragon 845 processor along with a dual camera system and a fingerprint sensor at the back.

More details should be revealed once LG officially announces it.
