Similar to the one found on the iPhone 11 Pro.
We’re nearing the end of 2019 and surprisingly, no new iPad Pro was announced this year and the budget 7th-generation iPad was introduced. But there may be a reason for the wait: Apple is reportedly preparing to introduce a new beefed-up iPad Pro that will have the iPhone 11 Pro’s three-camera setup.
Alleged renderings of the new iPad began floating online during the Christmas break, with hints that Apple could announce it by March of 2020. There’s reason to believe that this is true since the last iPad Pro was introduced in 2018 and March is usually the date for Apple’s Spring announcements.
The same two versions of the iPad Pro will be announced: an 11-inch and 12.9-inch version. The current render also suggests that the new iPad Pros should have a glass back panel as opposed to aluminum that was present on all previous models.
The iPhone 11 Pro’s camera is currently one of the highest-rated smartphone cameras at the moment, meaning that this will vastly improve the imaging capabilities of the iPad Pro.
