A flagship that does not cost an arm and a leg.

We are weeks away until the official unveiling of the OnePlus 2 and another welcome news to add to the exciting list of features the new smartphone has is that it won’t cost more than $450 (1653 AED). Pete Lau, CEO of OnePlus, confirmed the price of the OnePlus 2 in a statement.

The OnePlus 2 is slowly being teased in by the company leading to an official announcement at the end of this month. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 810 processor with 3 GB of RAM, a choice of 16/64 GB of storage, a 5.5-inch full HD display, a 16-megapixel camera along with a built-in fingerprint sensor. It will also be running on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

“We’ve seen price estimates for the #OnePlus2 upwards of $500. But, we made a promise to our users. “Honestly, it’s never been about the price. We simply make the best smartphones we can, and we go from there,” Lau said in a blog post.
