Well, it’s official. OnePlus has just announced the OnePlus 3T, a variation of the current flagship, the OnePlus 3. The OnePlus 3T brings a new color, Gunmetal, to the mix and now features even faster specifications.
The new Snapdragon 821 processor is the brains of the new smartphone, along with 6 GB of RAM and a new 128 GB storage variant. Design largely remains the same, though it now features a larger 3,400 mAh battery plus a new front-facing 16 megapixel sensor (it was 8 megapixels on the OnePlus 3). It still uses the full HD Optic AMOLED display, not LCD as it was earlier rumored.
Additionally, it will also a new version of OxygenOS, to which the original OnePlus 3 will be updated to the same software version. The OnePlus 3T will start at $439 and will be available on November 22 in the US and Canada, and on November 28th in Europe.
