This LG short throw 4K laser projector promises visual ecstasy. At a mere $6,000.

July 25, 2019

We first heard of LG’s HU85LA 4K laser projector late last year just ahead of CES 2019. Well, it’s finally available, at a super-steep $6K

In case of what it can do, try this: This short throw projector can create a 90-inch projection from just two inches away, with 2,500 ANSI lumens of brightness and a 4K UHD resolution.

The device boasts HDR10 high dynamic range capability to ensure far deeper blacks in dark scenes and more life-like bright highlights. It also features IP Control with Control4, Crestron, and Savant.

LG is quick to highlight how the HU85LA is the first projector to have both the Google Assistant and LG’s own ThinQ AI solution built in, allowing for seamless control and content discovery through simple voice commands.
