The classic console gets a Lego-sized version.
Lego’s partnership with Nintendo will see a special Super Mario Lego pack releasing next month, but that’s not the only thing coming. Just yesterday, a teaser was released showing that Lego and Nintendo will be releasing a brick version of the popular Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) console.

The teaser subtly showed a Lego version of the NES, complete with a CRT television and even a controller. Despite the tease, the Lego NES was already shown on the website VJGamer, where you can see in full detail. The image even includes the Super Mario bros. NES cartridge, and the aforementioned CRT TV.
The Lego NES will come in 2,646 pieces – one of the more elaborate builds that’s a big draw for fans of both Lego and Nintendo. There will even be a crank on the side of the TV that can make Mario jump up and down, making it look like you’re playing the classic game. What’s more, it was mentioned that the set will also work with the Super Mario sets coming out next month.
While official details are yet to be revealed, sources claim that the Lego NES will cost around $340.
