Apple might focus on the bigger iPad Pro instead.
With every passing year, Apple has made it a point to regularly update its iOS hardware every year and while everyone is anticipating for the launch of the new iPhone next month, it seems that Apple will be skiing a new iPad this year.
Digitimes has cited some details as to why Apple will be skipping the update this year: one reason is that they would want to put special emphasis on the iPad mini along with the bigger iPad Pro – if they ever decide to release it.
Though these could easily be dismissed as rumors, it can be also possible that Apple might still go with the same iPad announcement that they usually do every October. Not to mention that if the company also decides to release the bigger iPad Pro tablet, it will expand the companies’ current lineup that would cover all screen sizes.
Apple is scheduled to reveal the new iPhones next month, which is rumored to have the Force Touch feature currently present on current generation MacBooks.
