HP is making a new VR Headset with Microsoft and Valve
March 24, 2020

The new VR Headset has been teased on Microsoft’s website.

It looks like companies are still invested in VR. With the much-anticipated release of Half-Life: Alyx, HP has announced a collaboration with Microsoft and Valve on a new next-generation VR headset.

Little is known about the new headset, with only a short description on HP’s page that says: “Developed in collaboration with Valve and Microsoft, the next-gen HP VR headset delivers a more immersive, comfortable and compatible experience than the previous generation. It’s the new standard in VR.”

Aside from the teaser image above, the only we know about this new headset is the prominent HP logo at the center. You can also sign up to be notified once it is available. With three big companies behind this new hardware, it is interesting to see how different it will be from previously-released VR headsets.

We may have to wait a while before HP officially introduces this new VR Headset but one thing’s for sure, VR isn’t going anywhere!
