It will retail for around $35.
After all the teasers and leaks, OnePlus has officially announced its first fitness tracker. The OnePlus Band comes in at around $35, making it part of the inexpensive fitness trackers similar to the ones released by Xiaomi.
The OnePlus Band features a scratch-resistant 1.1-inch AMOLED display with a 126-by-294 pixel resolution with a small OnePlus logo at the chin. Design-wise it’s similar to other fitness bands, with a detachable main sensor that lets put it on different silicone bands according to your liking. The band also has IP68 water and dust resistance rating.
There’s a 100mAh battery inside that lasts up to 14 days on a single charge and includes a 3-axis accelerometer, gyroscope, SpO2 sensor, and of course an optical sensor for heart rate tracking. Sleep tracking is also supported as well as 13 exercise modes that include running and walking as well as yoga, cycling, and swimming to name a few.
OnePlus Band also integrates better with a OnePlus smartphone, where it lets you synchronize Zen Mode or even locate your smartphone with Find My Phone, and all your metrics will also sync with OnePlus Health.
The OnePlus Band was initially launched in India and should roll out to other key markets including the UAE soon.
